Before starting with the work, it's very important the careful choice of the kind of wood and its weathering.

Then, through the use of dimes and models, there is the layout of the various components of the instrument. At this point we are ready for the cutting, the planing and the possible glueing of the parts.

In this way we've obtained the basis of the instrument's neck, sounding board and bottom, which have to be roughed in other phases.
